It gives you an infinite horde of creatures with no significant movement abilities or ranged attack options. While it alters the battlefield significantly, it's not likely to ruin many combats.

I'm still mad that you're trying to crush the World Dominator's toes here, though.

The duration is reasonable, due to the cast time and targeting restrictions, but the EL that you gain is much less so. I'd suggest that it should probably have it's EL limited in the same manner as your summon monster, and that the creatures should count against any control limit that you have. 10-15 treants seems to fit the EL nicely, and the burst on the spell just makes it so that you're likely to get them in any decent forest. I'd probably skip the slot boost thing because it's unlikely to matter. - Tarkisflux Talk 07:49, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

I want to like this, the idea of moving a forest is cool. The idea of getting infinite trents, not so much. They might only be half your CR but that's a lot of trents. Forests be big yo. How do you even handle endless trents in a combat situation?
At least, that's how it is supposed to act, I think. But amusingly enough it is a burst, so the trees around you will provide an unclear amount of cover to the rest of the forest. You'll only get the trees immediately around you. I suspect this was unintentional given there is no way to determine how many trees you'd actually get with a burst.
My recommendation would be like Tarkis; you can give general non-combat commands to move to everyone, and then control X trents for combat, which doesn't refill the amount until you cast again. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 18:44, 6 October 2017 (MDT)
