Why cant you use any other EB abilities? why limit this?

This is basically an altered form of the same-named feat from Dragon Magazine #358. That feat also included the stipulation that regular eldritch blasts cannot be used while your claws are active. To answer your question, I'm not sure why you think you can't use any other EB abilities, since you can still use blast essences with your claws. The reason you can't fire an eldritch blast while your eldritch claws are active is because the claws ARE your eldritch blast: a continuous, claw-shaped blast. --Spanambula (talk) 21:11, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
