Immunity Period[edit]
I just noticed that speak with dead already has a built-in immunity period: any corpse targeted within the past week is not affected. This means the 24-hour limitation is never relevant. You might want to either specify that it overrides the immunity native to the spell, or just let the spell rules handle it -- although in the latter case, you should spell it out ("If the target has been subject to this effect within the past week, the new attempt fails" or the like) so that we don't have the oddity of this power making you immune to speak with dead, but not immune to itself. --DanielDraco (talk) 06:43, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
