| Like many of TGCid's monsters, this one is very well thought out. I especially like the fact that there is actually incentive for a doppelganger to capture prisoners rather than just kill their victims in order to steal spells/maneuvers/power points from them each day. I imagine a BBEG doppelganger syndicate that kidnaps powerful heroes and adds them to a sort of "collection" that is used to influence their powers. And the fact that I can come up with all sorts of crazy ideas like this makes this a fantastic monster entry: it is just a fountain of plot ideas. |
