Questions

When you consume somethign with Waste Not The Flesh, what happens to the body of the enemy after the full-round action? Is it fully consumed? Is just an important part of it, like it's heart or slime core, consumed? Do you just take any old bite out of them? It's not really clear from the text, and it has relevance for raising the consumed creature.

Amongst The Prey confers the Waste Not The Flesh ability on a successful hit... which is what exactly? I don't think this is meant to utterly consume them and be an at-will no-save death effect at a low level, but that depends on clarification above. Which leaves the hit point recovery and buff, and if that's the case you might just want to say that.

How does Wear Thine Enemy work? You say "after devouring the flesh of enemy, the devourer can assume the physical form of that creature as a standard action..." (emphasis mine), which reads pretty clearly as "you become what you ate". But then you let them remember things... and don't say how they get to become those things or why you'd want to remember those forms. I realize now that I did not elaborate in the text, but when Surgo presented me with this same question on IRC chat I said it was supposed to be just a chunk taken out, so the remains would not be destroyed and, in your words, you just take any old bite out of them. That cleans up the first two, but still doesn't explain how you get to choose forms other than the one you just ate with Wear Thine Enemy. Is the ability granting basically unlimited transformations as a standard action, so long as you haven't forgotten the form? - Tarkisflux ^Talk 16:31, 31 October 2014 (UTC)

I made an attempt to correct the wording about when he can activate it. The way it was written before made it seem like there was a necessary link between eating the foe and then immediately transforming, which wasn't what I was going for. So now it's just a standard action transformation to a remembered form with the effect and duration of the polymorph self spell. - TG Cid (talk) 22:47, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
