Bizarre and/or Nonsense Powers[edit]

As written, Doomsong will cause any creature without the Aquatic subtype (such as Water Elementals) to become deathly afraid of water (which they're made of). Is that intentional? If not, you might want to add the [Water] subtype to those it doesn't affect. Additionally, Enslave claims that it changes the creature's "type" to evil, which is both not meaningful (what kind of racial hit dice do creatures of the evil type get?) and not what the referenced spell does at all. I expect the ability is supposed to change their alignment to chaotic evil, but that isn't even remotely what it suggests. --Quantumboost 09:01, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

I think he means the [Evil] subtype in that case. --Havvy 09:03, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Even if that's the case, the reference to the spell (which changes alignment to chaotic evil and doesn't change subtypes at all) makes no sense. --Quantumboost 09:21, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for those catches, Quantum. I just fail proofreading forever. - TG Cid 22:00, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Ratings[edit]

Although I don't play with wizard-level material, this article struck me as an excellent read. The abilities are well thought out and, although that is the case for most of the stuff I've read in Liber Demonica, this one stands out as particularly well thought out.
