Unique, cannot be crafted... not an artifact?!?

It happens. It's not an artifact because A) it has a price and is intended to be traded or sold and B) it's less that this is a magic that can be duplicated and is more the result of a curse placed by abstract means. It's an item to find and it can be destroyed just fine.

Now the sword inside may be an artifact, if the DM wants to go that way. More likely it is a relic though. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 14:56, 13 September 2018 (MDT)

Artifacts can wind up for sale, too. Said sale is likely to be an auction in the Abyss, a bloody tournament that makes Mortal Kombat look tame in comparison, or throwing thousands of souls into a demonic pit to be devoured, rather than a mundane bazzar, but it is entirely possible to simply sell an artifact. --Luigifan18 (talk) 20:56, 13 September 2018 (MDT)

Indeed, anything can be sold. Must like how I recently sold your soul to obtain some more coffee. Of course, artifacts don't have a market price. This one does, just for that purpose.

Actually this isn't the first "Cannot be crafted" item here. The last one I read was a Frustrating Plant. Not created because it is a random cursed item which just randomly grows. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 21:11, 13 September 2018 (MDT)
