Talk:Covenant of the Warp (3.5e Feat)

Wow Loved this Feat when i found it and have been trying to use it ever since, i did have a few fluff questions however. 1) Firstly what exactly happens to shut down the items? I was thinking it would be something like an anti-magic field contained with in the body, so items that were now EX would no longer be counted since they are part of the PCs body.(Spellborg metal bones, replacement eyes ect all changed to EX) 2) What exactly is the "warp" is it taken from 40K? Because i'd really hate to have a GM just say that i just got possessed by a demon. 3) Can the connection to the Warp be used for anything else? I just have this one PC who gets thrown out of his Plane into one where he needs some serious survival backup that are not item based, but he has a Spellborg template already. (its not quite good enough :( ) Cheers

Not the author, but I can answer number 2, sorta. The warp is just a generic fluff for some extranormal power and not referring to anything specific in this context. Though, the feat originated out of a game where "the warp" was an actual thing and in that case referred to something in-game as well. It means nothing divorced from the original source material. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 01:02, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi just had a thought about those bonus feats gained every three levels, would Monstrous Feat's work along with the others? You asked for more ideas and i just thought the addition would give a bit more freedom to anyone using CotW. Hope this helps 125.209.191.243 06:13, 20 December 2014 (UTC) Kildar
