Talk:Contagious Fireball (3.5e Spell)
Pre-Emptive Bag of Rats[edit]
The child explosion being based on enemy CR is intentional, so the most that most bag-o-rats tricks will pull is 1d6 a rat. In a level where fire resistance is common, it will be soaked by the small individual attacks and be a non-threat to many. Such was my solution to the problem.
And yes, the risky nature of the spell is intentional. An infected enemy may decide to bum-rush you and self-detonate to harm you with your own spell. Safety? What is that? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 04:07, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
Infection duration?[edit]
How long does an infected creature stay infected? Is there any way to cure the infection before it's set off? Listing the duration as "Instantaneous" doesn't really answer either of these questions. --Luigifan18 (talk) 16:07, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
- Never mind the second question, I missed that in the description. But still, does the infection ever go away on its own without being discharged? --Luigifan18 (talk) 16:09, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, I know, but does it ever wear off on its own? --Luigifan18 (talk) 19:03, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
