How much does cactuar fruit sell for? What would be the alchemy DC/caster level requirement for making a potion of youth and what ingredients does it require?--ThirdEmperor 17:38, December 18, 2009 (UTC)

CR[edit]

I think you need to rethink the challenge rating for this monster.

There is no way for a group of 4 adventurers to be able to defeat this monster. Wizards magic is useless, normal attacks at level 8 is looking at a plus 15 tops, meaning you need a critical to even hit this monster.

If you do your looking at losing most of your hp, unless your a fighter, in which case its half. It's definately not a CR 8 monster. It should be at least a 12, being conservative

Don't know if you're at all familiar with the Final Fantasy games or not, but in the game Cactuar's are all but immune to magic and are hard to hit with physical strikes. 8 times out of 10 that you fight a Cactuar it ends up running away and you get nothing. They're hard to pin down so to speak. But in the interest of balance and fairness I halved the spell resistance and dropped the AC by 2. The-Marksman (talk) 20:59, 24 November 2017 (MST)
