Free Will[edit]

Could there possibly be a way for a player character to play this without the loss of free will? I'd say maybe a feat or trait, that allows the base creature to retain it's free will and abilities, but it loses it's bonuses to ability scores, but maybe keeps the negative? This would be such an awesome thing combined with the hivemaster class, so much buggy goodness.--Stryker 11:00, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, interesting. I like the idea though even without the ability scores (removing them is a good idea) it still probably would be a LA 1 at least. A suggestion would be that your "Free Will" feat have strong pre-reqs, whatever they be. That might close the gap. On one hand, I wouldn't want to grant all these mind blank/construct traits for a single feat, but taking a feat and gaining LA for your trouble seems harsh. Go ahead and made this feat and we'll work on it, and then link it into the template as well. -- Eiji-kun 19:41, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
I could always (this is where it gets slightly less sane) make another template that grants free will to those tmeplates that remove it, gonna have to work that out but it could be possible. I was just suggesting a feat, really I or you could put up an alternate template on the page but I just woke up and have to go somewhere soon so i'll think about it later.--Stryker 03:21, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
