Is it me or it just better than sanctuary while being given to the classes that were not given sanctuary in the first place? --Leziad (talk) 14:50, 17 May 2017 (MDT)

To some degree. It's less hit-or-miss than Sanctuary, but could be useful for Enchanters, who are notorious for sucking. It's also a component for this: Helpless Guile (3.5e Equipment). --Zhenra-Khal (talk) 15:12, 17 May 2017 (MDT)
I mean the fact it can replicate sanctuary and has an additional side effect. If it was just the second that would be fair. --Leziad (talk) 15:35, 17 May 2017 (MDT)
I debated that, actually. However, those are two different versions of the spell, and you must choose which to use at the time of casting, rather than having both effects. You either choose to make the enemy save once with Sanctuary or it ignores you for the whole fight, or make it save on an per-attack basis, one of the two, not both. --Zhenra-Khal (talk) 16:07, 17 May 2017 (MDT)
