Most metamagic abilities will end up unquantifiable by nature, as you never know what they will be applied to. That said, this is very amusing as a thought. I actually want to suggest that not only can you use Silent Spell on them, but Silent Spell is added at +0 cost (after all, you're already paying a +1 increase on this one, I could argue that you already paid the feat tax for the ability and that is enough). That's up to you. Pardon me, making a sweet silent rave party now. Wub wub wub wub.

I wanted to make Silent Spell viable to bards, as they can now alter their spell with Altered Frequency, so the requirement is a kind of inside joke to point at the fact that they shouldn't normally be able to. On the other hand I think of this as an upgrade to Silent Spell, so it felt natural to have it as a requirement. Lastly, I put the feat requirement as a necessary tax to have what is essentially an improvement on Silent Spell, although limited to Sonic spells. --The bluez in the dungeon (talk) 13:53, 30 August 2021 (UTC)
