The pun is funny but I do not advise the execution.

It probably should be "When you acid spell modified by this metamagic feat deals damage, the target is also confused for 1d4 rounds." and link to the confusion spell. You can make that part mind affecting or, given the flavor, say the latter is a poison effect. Or do what you did and offer a +4 on their Fort save for bypassing mind immunity. OR if you're feeling saucy you can have a random chart like below with your own unique and otherwise not defined effects like "Unable to move more than half speed" or "Can only smell tacos".

What it shouldn't do, which it does unfortunately, is have one of the (unlinked) effects lead to a spell which has its own random table you have to roll on a second time. Or have an effect which is grossly out of line like offering an 8th level spell effect Remember you can cast this at level 1... Acid Trip Acid Splash is a thing. And fear and panick are strong.
