Origin Teukros[edit]
It is told that in the chaos of the Second Age, the firstborn gods made 12 pieces of divinity in an effort to save Apiron and all the mortals. They then summoned the greatest hero alive and presented him one of the pieces with the task of leading the new gods and protecting Apiron. So Teukros was first chosen and ascended to the god realms where he waited until the other chosen showed up; he then wrote the Book of Heaven and within it all the laws and duties for the gods were forever locked.
Description Teukros[edit]
All paintings and written descriptions of Teukros depict a strong and regal figure often in gold armor wielding a burning spear; he is often described as a giant, matching a human in height five times over.
Dogma Teukros[edit]
The church encourages benevolence and help for the weak. Laws exist to help others, and to fight both evil in its obvious form and those that would seek to corrupt the law to evil ends. Followers are expected to take an active role, leading by example. One aspect of the belief that is forgotten by most is how harshly they respond to violent wrongdoings. Paladins, monks, clerics, and other devoted worshipers are also taught that an evil shall not rise again if shown swift and fierce retribution.
Clergy and Temples Teukros[edit]
The Clergy mostly comes from noble blood, noble children who have bigger siblings who will inherit the estate and title are often sent to holy house to serve Teukros, the people, and their family this way.
Temples for Teukros are often the biggest and most resplendent temples. They don't have as many active worshipers as some other temples, but they typically receive a great deal of attention and donations from nobles.
Most orphanages and soup kitchens are owned and operated by devotees to Teukros.
Origin Tekran[edit]
Most Tekran worshippers don't really care about his origin but the most common legend is that when the God War of the Second Age was at its worst and spilled down on Apiron. Tekran a barbarian warrior from the north got angry, he gathered the greatest warriors and shamans of the mortal world, together they made a boat from all the slain mortal spirits, then sailed the ocean to the end and into the sky.
Here they waited until the sun was reborn and while it was forming they used its rays to make weapons, spears, hammers and swords.
When they returned, Tekran challenged all the gods on both side of the conflict, so great was the battle that when it settled the earth was devoid of life for 50 miles and all that was left was Tekran and 7 of his people.
They picked up the divine mantles and forged a new heavenly order that day.
Description Tekran[edit]
Pictured as a gigantic beast of a man often with the head of a predator animal still clutching the burning spear he made from the Sun.
Dogma Tekran[edit]
There is no trying, if you deside to do something then you see it through.
Only draw your weapon if you will use it and when you do don't put it away before the enemy is dead.
Punishment must always be worse then the offense, if an enemy kills one from your family, kill his whole family and him last.
Fire purges sin.
