Stoneset[edit]

The sword is set into the stone, and unless you are worthy you cannot draw it.

When a stoneset weapon is planted on a hard surface, the wielder may immobilize it as a free action. The weapon act as an immovable Rod except that it cannot defy gravity and return to normal if moved out of its surface. When the weapon is set, the wielder can specify up to three conditions, which may be directed at any creature who attempts to remove the weapon or a situation in general. If those three conditions are met, the weapon can be drawn from the surface it is planted in without the need of a Strength check.

The wielder of the weapon may remove it from it surface without meeting the condition, if any. If another creature successfully lift the weapon, they are now considered to be the wielder.

This is a prestige enhancement. Equipment may have only a single prestige enhancement.

Moderate Transmutation; CL 15th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, temporal stasis, zone of truth; Price: 6,000 gp.
