Warlock Lesser; 3rd |
This invocation requires a focus component of a blank canvas worth a minimum of 100 gp. This duplicates the effect of ‘’shrink item’’, but instead imbues an image of the affected item into the canvas (even “objects” such as a burning fire), up to 2 cubic feet per caster level. Items can be stored like this for 1 day per level, or until dismissed.
You can store willing creatures within your canvas, appearing as a self portrait. Creatures within are aware of their surroundings as if looking through a window, but otherwise cannot act or move except to dismiss the effect. If the warlock stores themselves in the canvas, they are capable of performing minor effects such as moving their eyes, changing their expression, or altering their own art style. They may also speak through the painting in a haunting voice.
If the painting is destroyed, creatures and objects are ejected into the nearest valid space and take 3d6 force damage. You may have as many stored objects as you have canvases to store them in.
