King of Horses, Sputnik is the bravery of the heroes mounted companions and their role in the fight.
It is said that the bond between rider and mount is strong, and when such a bond forms, the animal can pull through during the rider's time of need and perform the impossible, do the unthinkable, and show bravery most men would be incapable of. They channel the power of the King of Horses, Sputnik the Cosmic Steed, and his glorious power to turn to odds back to their favor. Look into the night sky, the shooting star you just saw may be Sputnik dashing across the heavens to charge into battle!
Dogma[edit]
Through bravery, you invite good fortune, this is the way of Sputnik. Ignore your fear in favor for acts of courage, and luck will be on your side, for in the end there will be glory even if you die. Worshipers of Sputnik give extra care to their mounts, treating them as people, or even better, for they are not simply tools and beasts of burden, but heroes in their own right.
Clergy and Temples[edit]
As one may imagine with a religion of battle, the clerics of Sputnik are all warriors, paladins, rangers, druids, and more. They're all equipped with animal companions of some sort, and most are cavaliers and other mounted specializations. They eagerly accept heroes into their ranks, for who better to set a good example than a hero?
