Spiritlinked[edit]
A spiritlinked weapon is specifically linked to a single user, granting her special benefits. A wielder may establish a link with the weapon by performing a ritual chosen when the weapon was created and only a single creature may be linked to the weapon at any one time.. If the linked creature dies or willingly break the link another creature may claim the weapon by performing the ritual. While the ritual is usually secret, a successful Bardic Lore DC 25 is enough to divine clues and theories about the ritual.
A Spiritlinked weapon possess a powerful magic link to the wielder, while in her a hand a Spiritlink weapon deal an additional +1d6 magic damage. Additionally any magical effects placed on a Spiritlinked has it duration doubled. This does not stack with effect such as Extend Spell and only work for the creature the weapon is linked to.
At the linked wielder's option any other enhancement or magic effect on the weapon may be restricted to only work while in her hands.
