You don’t provoke attacks of opportunity for attacking an adjacent creature with a [[SRD:Whip|whip]]. Additionally, allies don’t provide soft cover to opponents you attack with a [[Chain Whip (3.5e Equipment)|chain whip]] or [[SRD:Whip|whip]].
''Prehensile Lash Whip {{ExSu}}:'' You may use your [[Chain Whip (3.5e Equipment)|chain whip]] or [[SRD:Whip|whip]] to manipulate objects(but not weapons), at a range of 5 feet + the reach of your weapon (10' for the [[Chain Whip (3.5e Equipment)|chain whip]] and 15' for the [[SRD:Whip|whip]]).
