Both tools and weapons, runehammers are stone +1 [[SRD:Warhammer|warhammers]] that have been magically hardened. A runehammer counts as being made of [[SRD:AdmanatineAdamantine|adamantine]] when advantageous, such as calculating its own hardness and hit point, and bypassing hardness and DR. Unlike most [[SRD:Warhammer|warhammers]], a runehammer can be used as a tool for any tasks which require a hammer, which it grants bonus to as a [[SRD:Masterwork Tool|Masterwork Tool]].
The hammer is able to magically repair items once per day, as per [[SRD:Make Whole|''make whole'']] with a range of touch and a casting time of 10 minutes. The caster level of this effect is equal to the wielder's ranks in the relevant [[SRD:Craft Skill|Craft]] skill, or the runehammer's caster level, whichever is higher.
