Barbed caltrops are like regular caltrops but with a few exceptions, : these caltrops were made to cause pain and bleeding . If the barbed caltrops succeed on the attack, the creature has stepped on one. The barbed caltrop deals 1 point of damage, then causes 1 point of bleed damage a per round for 1 minute or until a dc DC 20 heal [[Heal]] check is done passed or after the application of any amount of healing magic.
Removing the caltrop causes 1d3 damage unless a DC 20 heal [[Heal]] check is donepassed. Also the creature’s speed is reduced by one-half because its foot of the wound to the lower limb.
