When animated, the concrete terrorhound takes on the statistics of a [[SRD:Dire Wolf|dire wolf]] with [[Int]] 8 (skill points are unchanged). It understands Common but does not speak. It can be commanded to guard any one person, object, or place and will remain within 60 ft of whatever location, object, or creature it has been assigned to.
The concrete terrorhound never attacks first, but will attempt to intimidate, growl, and bark at anyone not specified as an ally. If they or the subject they are guarding is attacked, taken, or otherwise negatively interacted with they can attack and at will continue to attack until the offender leaves the area.
The concrete terrorhound is capable to two special abilities. It can use ''[[SRD:Dimension Door|dimension door]]'' (CL 9th, self only) at will, but only does so to return within the area of guarding. It can also harden itself as if affected by ''[[SRD:Statue|statue]]'', but requires a standard action to toggle between flesh and stone. It usually does this to blend in while guarding locations or other immovable objects.
