''Learn Truename:'' A truly difficult task, the truenamer attempts to divine the creature's truename as a full-round action. The DC is equal to 20 + the creature's CR, if successful the truenamer has forever a +2 bonus on DCs when she casts a truenamer spell against the target. If she fails she cannot attempt to learn the target's true name for a year and day. A truenamer can only know a number of truename equal to her [[Intelligence]] modifier, although she may overwrite previously known truenames with new ones. Additionally, knowing a creature's true name this way has all the normal benefits of doing so, such as when summoning and binding outsiders.
'''{{Anchor|Utterance}} {{Su}}:''' A truenamer is able to splice her spells with fragments of powerful utterance, which modify and improve it. An utterance is used as a swift action and imbues the next spell the truenamer cast. If a truenamer does not start casting until the end of a turn when she pronounces an utterance, it is wasted. It is impossible to use two utterances on the same spell, using multiple utterance simply overwriting the previous one. At 1st level a truenamer knows a single utterance, learning a new utterance at 3rd level and each odd level thereafter. A truename can use her utterance a number of times per day equal to 3 + her [[IIntelligenceIntelligence]] modifier.
