You cannot activate [[SRD:Scrolls|scrolls]] or other items which uses the spell trigger activation method without an [[SRD:Use Magic Device Skill|Use Magic Device]] check, even if you are a spellcaster with the correct spells. You still count as your race, type, alignment or class for any effects which is are neutral, disadvantageous or harmful.

You cannot wield any major artifacts, they become act like non-magical items of their kind while in your handhands. You still experience any drawback or curse the artifact would place on it's wielder.
