If your eldritch blast would bring a target to 0 hp or less, you can instead keep them at 1 hp and locked in a crystal, unconscious and unmoving. They are effectively held in ''[[SRD:Temporal Stasis|temporal stasis]]'', with attempts at moving the crystal being as difficult as moving an [[SRD:Immovable Rod|immovable rod]]. However, the crystal can be broken (hardness 8, 2 hp/caster level) which frees the creature withinand ends the effect, and the effect can be dismissed as a standard action.
You can choose to deal no damage with your eldritch blast for the purpose of sealing objects or creatures you do not wish to harm. For unattended objects or willing and helpless creatures, you may simply seal them. You are limited in the size of objects no larger than a 5 ft cube. You can seal a number of creatures or objects equal to your [[Charisma]] modifier at any one time, and can choose to dismiss a previous seal when making a new one as a free action.
