:::::::: Of course, you *can*. But no other archetype / subclass gives an Ability Score Increase as their bonus and it's inherently really boring. An Abjuration Wizard gets super sweet spell tanking skills; the Alchemist gets... an Ability Score Increase. After they've already maxed out their Intelligence.
