→Entropy Well: new section
:::Alright, I've made some changes to the original version of this archetype. I'll make some adjustments and we can talk about balance issues with new mechanics. Primary change made, maximum additional damage equal to up to class level. If this is still too much, I can limit it to 1/2 level or Cha mod (minimum 1). I am still uncertain of how to add more ''stealthiness'' to the patron that the class can't already do with spells and invocations. Do you have any suggestions?--[[User:Gr7mm Bobb|Gr7mm Bobb]] ([[User talk:Gr7mm Bobb|talk]]) 23:37, 28 February 2019 (MST)

Yello, it's me, ya boi. I'm coming at you live from the internet to talk about the ability 'Entropy Well' on your class here. Specifically, about the proficiency for Stealth - or the weird way that this is worded.
Firstly, why? Why does making a Pact with the Void allow you to maybe get a stealth proficiency? Nothing else about the archetype seems to actually be about being stealthy, or some form of darkness. There's nothing that really works with Stealth either. So I just don't quite get the fluffiness of it.
Secondly, it's just done so dang weird, you know? Why does it add to Warlock's proficiencies instead of just kind of maybe giving you that proficiency instead? Because, in my opinion and interpretation - which I have no valid proof of except for just common sense - when you're making a character, you do things in the order of:
* Pick a Race (get all proficiencies)
* Pick a Background (get all proficiencies)
* Pick a Class (choose your proficiencies)
* Resolve levels
To me, this really doesn't give you the chance to be like "Oh, since I'm a Level 1 Inescapable Void Warlock, I choose Stealth". But, hey, that's just my interpretation, and I'm fine with you doing your cool things, my dude. But it's just not something in the standard template - it's just something out there and unnecessarily complex when it comes to character creation. Is this some weird way that you're trying to punish multiclassing (Don't try to punish multiclassing)?
I think it should just give you the Stealth proficiency, if it's relevant to the archetype.
