To learn or cast a spell, a minstrel must have a Charisma score equal to at least 10 + the spellspell’s level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a bard’s minstrel’s spell is 10 + the spell level + the minstrel’s Charisma modifier.

A Minstrel cast casts her spell spontaneously , much like a [[SRD:Sorcerer|Sorcerer]]; however, however unlike the Sorcerer , she do does not have a list of spell spells known. Instead , after she had rested at least eight hours, she may ready an amount of spell spells of each level (see Minstrel Spells Readied table below) which behave like her list of spell spells known for the day. The process of readying new spell take spells takes an hour of recitation and practice, but she may keep her old spell spells readied without any work.
