It looks good for building a custom mimic monster and leveling it up to be more difficult. It would great for making some really cool mimics. I do not see why a player would want to take this as a class however. Starting at level 1 they would need to be carried around by the party. Now, if this could replace a animal companion or a familiar, then this would be really cool. Also, if this is a class, does that mean you still pick a race at character creation? And if you do pick a race at character creation, how did you become a item? Maybe it should be a race that has monster levels attached to it. I think this would work really good as a companion or familiar. Or make it a class that creates mimics to fight for it. Like the base class taken by the PC who wants to summon mimics to fight for him. Maybe if you address how it is you go about making this as a PC. Do you even bother rolling for a Con score on your sheet? Do you select a race? Do you some how still gain feats? Do you gain stat increases at 4th level still? :Added explanation of race. Books can have a familiar or animal companion, while any mimic can summon monsters (see general morphologies). Fixed: con, feats, skills, ability advancement. With the body becoming an intelligent item, most of the physical bonuses from races must be removed. However, if you can think of an easy way to keep some of the mental abilities without adding confusion I will be listening.--Franken Kesey 12:34, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
