The miasma is thick enough to make the wearer slightly indistinct, giving him [[SRD:Concealment|concealment]] (attacks have a 20% miss chance) unless the attacker is within 5 feet. Anything that can disperse an ''[[SRD:Obscuring Mist|obscuring mist]]'' or ''[[SRD:Solid Fog|solid fog]]'' can also disperse the searstone's miasma, though it will return on the start of the wearer's next turn.
