It's free clean energy. Absorb the power of the sun.
Upon casting this spell an object or creature has hexagonal "panels" attached to the surface of, or floating just around it. These panels provide no cover or defense, but they absorb sunlight and convert it into functional energy. On creatures it provides a sort of photosynthesis, allowing sustenance to be had as a full meal after only 4 hours of sunlight in a day. On objects it can supplement any mundane power source for any small scale power supply, though larger objects such as vehicle motors cannot run on this energy. Lastly, you can have the panels attached to an object or a person instead feed into an optional focus component that acts as a battery. It is capable of storing energy to power small conventional objects as before, and attaching the focus to an object you wish to power will supply power even when the sun is not out. These batteries provide 1 hour of power for every 1 hour of exposure to sunlight.
The focus component discharges over time. After 24 hours, it loses any charge it has accumulated.
Material Component: A leaf and dark glass dust.
Focus: (Optional) A nickel rod worth 5 gp.
