Beloved by prankster wizards since the dawn of time, this spell makes an object much smaller for easy transportation - or just throwing something heavy at people's heads.
This spell shrinks the target object to 1/16th of its size (or roughly 1/4,000th of its volume and mass), effectively reducing its size by four categories. Additionally, the object's composition can be changed to a clothlike one if the user wants. Objects so shrunk can be returned to their normal size and volume by a command word from the original user (which takes no action), or by tossing it hard against any solid surface. Either of these ends the spell.
Enhanced: You can shrink the object up to 1/24th of its size (or roughly 1/6,000th of its volume and mass), effectively reducing its size by up to six categories. The change must be at least two categories, and must be in units of whole categories.
Diminished: You shrink the object to only 1/8th of its size (or roughly 1/2,000th of its volume and mass), effectively reducing its size by two categories.
Immune: No effect.
Augment (+2 levels): The spell's duration becomes Permanent. Objects that have this spell used on them can be shrunk again after resizing with a command word from the original user (which takes no action) and then resized again. This can be done any number of times.
