You are your own worst enemy.
Creatures who fail the saving throw against this spell have a shadowy copy of themselves appear anywhere in range. The copy has all the target's abilities, buffs, debuffs, and other effects at time of casting but only 1 maximum hp and dies at 0 hp, and it only acts to attack the original to the best of its ability or move to attack. It acts at the end of the original's turn.
On a successful save, the copy is indistinct and deals 20% of its normal damage or 20% chance of functioning for non-damaging effects, and only lasts 1 round.
If the original dies, the copy also vanishes. Only one shadow nemesis per target may be active at a time.
