Runestone[edit]

Starting its life as a sturdy brick of stone, runestone is inscribed with symbols of magical powers. Runestone is as sturdy as steel, but need more to be more thick and thus is much heavier. Any items made of runestones half-as-much heavier than normal.

Runestone's true potential comes when they are made into a magical item. While non-magical runestone is simply treated as a steel, magical items made of runestone behaves as if they were adamantine. In either case runestone is a stone rather than a metal. Only a weapon dealing bludgeoning damage can be made out of runestone, but armor and shield can be made of runestone.

Runestone has 30 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 10, while magical runestone has 40 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 20.
