A golden ring with a red condor emblazoned upon it. While worn your shield's arm seem much more stable.
An ancient order of shieldbearing knight gave these rings to their senior member, the symbolism beyond the red condor design is now long lost. A ring of the Red Condor has no real effect of its own, however it greatly enhances the wearer's shield. While the ring is worn, the wearer’s shield seems to be unusually stable, lowering its ACP by 6 and granting a +8 bonus against it being disarmed. Finally while worn the ring grants any shield the wearer uses immunity to the broken condition.
Once per day as an immediate action the wearer of the ring may reflect an incoming spell with his shield (as per spell turning). This requires an attack roll from you opposed by a caster level check from the caster, the caster adds her spellcasting ability score modifier to this concentration check. If you fail this check, the spell targets you correctly and you take a -2 penalty on any saving throw against the spell effect.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, Spell turning, shield other, wall of force.
Cost to Create: 10,000 gp, 800 EXP, 20 days.
