Demon of the ring, I command you to come forth.
This gold ring is inscribed with text written in either abyssal or infernal as appropriate. Hidden within the text is a truename of a minor demon or devil and when the proper command word is spoken it summons them to perform your bidding 3/week. The ring summons a specific imp or quasit who is compelled to follow the ringbearers orders, but is not beyond twisting commands or tricking the owner. It serves up to 1 hour to perform any task it is capable of, but will attempt to bargain for gold or other services to the tune of up to 300 gp for any task which is dangerous. It is capable of denying requests that are suicidal. The imp and quasits lack their commune ability.
Once per month it can summon itself for 1 hour. It usually does not tell its owner it can do this, and can act freely except against their current owner.
It is treated as a called creature for the purpose of interacting with spells and abilities. It retains damage, items, and other effects over summoning and if slain it cannot be called back again for 1 month.
Use of the ring is impossible until the command is discovered by a identify spell or a DC 15 truespeak check. The text on the ring is typically the common name of the fiend in question.
Created by a powerful wizard of ancient times, the secret of crafting these rings has been lost to history. However it maintains a market price for the purpose of trade.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, lesser planar binding.
Cost to Create: Cannot be crafted.
