Is he providing suppressing fire... with daggers?

You swing your weapon and spray out a line or cone of thrown copies of your weapon outward en masse. You can use any discipline melee weapon, light melee weapon, or finesse-able melee weapon you possess, dealing 1d6 points of physical damage per initiator level in a line 10 ft long per initiator level (max 120 ft at 12th) or a cone 5 ft line per initiator level (max 60 ft at 12th). Creatures get a Reflex save for half damage. You can choose to fire at a shorter range than your maximum if you wish.

The physical damage is the same type of your swung weapon, such as slashing or piercing for daggers, adamantine for an adamantine weapon, or physical and fire damage for a flaming weapon. For the latter, use the lower resistance to a damage type (so the creature would need the appropriate damage reduction and fire resistance for the latter, taking the lowest).

The maneuver briefly creates daggers as a supernatural ability, but the subsequent attack is extraordinary. The daggers vanish after the duration ends.
