This is the most adorable, fat, little turkey you've ever seen. It's face is so derpy with two beady black eyes.
The quirk turk has a resemblance to a normal turkey, if it were the size of a kitten and had the appearance of a cartoon version of itself with almost perfectly round body, simple flat colors, and small dot-like eyes. The quirk turk is actually a fey, specifically a "Holiday Spirits", one of several fey which were produced as a result of widespread holiday use. This particular holiday spirit is associated with Thanksgiving. They are lazy and vacant fey, whose limited intelligence is wasted on deep thoughts it never feels like sharing with others and only expressing itself in methods on how to escape predators.
Quirk turks do not speak but make gobbling noises. They are effectively animals to the fey, and would be eaten more often if it wasn't for their unassuming presence.
Combat[edit]
A quirk turk doesn't fight. If it's unassuming presence fails it, it flees to the nearest dangerous creature in hopes that its threatening presence will deter any opponents, while not making itself a meal.
Lazy Gaze (Su): The quirk turk's vacant stare makes people relax. As a standard action it can make a gaze attack to a creature in 30 ft, and they must make a DC 11 Will save or have their attitude improve by one step (maximum friendly), but only towards quirk turks. This lasts for 10 minutes. A successful saving throw renders the creature immune to further attempts from the quirk turks for 24 hours, and the saving throw is Charisma based.
Plump Body (Ex): The quirk turk is quite plump. Each round it gains its HD in temporary hit points. Temporary hp overlaps, it does not stack.
Unassuming Presence (Ex): The quirk turk naturally gives on a pleasant scent which has the effect of calming nerves. It is always under the effect of an extraordinary sanctuary (DC 13). Creatures which cannot smell are immune, and creatures with scent take a -4 penalty on the save. A creature which saves is immune to unassuming presence for 24 hours. The saving throw is Constitution based.
Familiar[edit]
Quirk turks may be used as familiars, in which case it has the alignment of its owner. Quirk turks give +3 hp.
