Why of course sir, no merchant herabouts would be caught without their pouch. An invaluable tool for any man of enterprise.

The Provisioner’s Pouch is a favorite of merchants and professional soldiers alike for its ability to allow easy transport of large amounts of goods over long distances. These pouches at first look like simple, well-worn, belt pouches that, when attuned to a wearer, gain the ability to hold any amount of a specific type of goods. There are ten main types of pouch which each hold a specific type of item. The items each pouch can hold are, Armor, Camp Supplies (tents, fire wood, ect), Clothing, Drink (water, ale, mead, wine, ect however any liquid stored in a drinks pouch must be potable), Meats (raw), Preserved Foods, Produce (raw), Raw Materials (metals (but not coins or other worked metals)), wood, cloth, ect), Tools (such as those used for skill checks), and Weapons. An Empty pouch weighs 5 lbs and when any amount of goods are added this weight increases noticeably to 7 lbs but the bags are never heavier than 7 lbs regardless of contents. The pouches do no not produce the specified item only store items that are placed into them but any item of the apropriate type always fits into the pouch reguardless of what the dimensions of the pouch and item would usually allow.

Any item can be stored in any pouch, however, items that are outside of the type the pouch is meant to hold fill the bag normally, additionally no items can be magically stored in the pouch, and items already stored within cannot be removed until the foreign contents are removed. In addition to the main eight types of pouch other types can be made, but these pouches must be special ordered and generally cost twice as much as usual. For instance, a jewelry merchant might commission the creation of a Jewlery pouch, while a wizard may produce a pouch that holds scrolls or other magic items.

Each type of magic item constitutes a different item type, so, for instance, scrolls could not be stored in the same pouch as wands or staves, and a flaming great sword could not be stored in the same pouch as a regular great sword. However, items that are used by magicians but are not themselves magical do not follow this rule, for instance a wizard could keep their spell book in a book seller’s custom book pouch since a spell book is not itself magical in nature or keep spell components that are also fresh fruits and vegetables in a produce pouch. However retreiving a specific item from a Provisioner's Pouch takes a full round action of rummaging and serching.

Any goods stored in a Provisioner’s Pouch are protected from damage and spoiling, for instance a sword stored in the weapon pouch would never rust, and a piece of meat stored in the meats (raw) pouch would never rot. Once an item is removed from the pouch it begins to age as normal again though placing it back into the bag once again halts the aging process.

As with a bag of holding a Provisioner’s pouch that is pierced by a sharp object, from within or without becomes useless and all its contents spill out on the ground, any perishable goods immediately begin to rot, and other item must be maintained as normal.

The pouches are usually bought separately but may be purchased or made into a set by the addition of a specially enchanted belt that can be affixed to a backpack without impeding the use of any of the packs pouches. Once a pouch is affixed to the belt or the belt is attached to a backpack only an attuned user may remove either the belt from the pack or the pouch from the belt by any means, even if the pouch should be punctured and rendered nonmagical.

Each main pouch costs 2,000 gp while a pouch belt costs 1,000 gp. When worn together a belt and all the pouches attached to it are considered a single magic item with a total cost of all the pouches and the belt added together.

If usuing tome magic item rules a provisioner's pouch is a wonderious item that takes 15 minutes to attune. When unattuned the pouch's magical storage ablity cannot be used, nor can items already stored within the pouch be retrieved untill attuned. However, pouches affixed to a provisioner's belt are treated as part of the belt for the purpose of attunment. Each Provisioner's belt may hold any number of pouches and may contain a full set of the standard pouches or a mixture of standard and nonstandard pouches.

Prerequisites: Craft Wonderious Item, DC 25, Secret Chest.
Cost to Create: 1,000gp pouch; 500gp belt, 40 EXP pouch; 20 EXP belt, 1 day.
