Protective Padding

This set of fabric, leather and metal plates is meant to be worn under clothes without significantly altering body shape. While it is not as mobile as a suit of well crafted leather armor and much more expensive, protective padding is much lighter. Protective padding may be made of any fabric, leather or metal special material.

If the character has some help, cut this time in half. A single character doing nothing else can help one or two adjacent characters. Two characters can't help each other don armor at the same time.

While worn with a well-covering outfit, protective padding is effectively undetectable. A thorough physical frisk allows the searching creature to make a Search check DC 15 to find the protective padding. If the physical search is incomplete or half-hearted the DC rises to 25.
