Not a lot of these shields have been produced, but nobody doubts their effectiveness in scaring the user's opponents.
A +2 heavy steel shield that grunts and squeaks in combat, giving the user a +6 bonus on Intimidate checks, allowing to do them as a swift action in combat. Furthermore this shield may be ordered, as a free action, to emit a loud cry that makes all enemies in 15 feet (4,5 meters) unnerved, imposing a -3 penalty to attacks, damage rolls and AC against the user for the entire battle. Enemies that resist a Will save with DC 18 suffer this penalty only for one round and may not be affected again until the next day. You may use this power only once per encounter.
Prerequisites: Create Magic Arms and Armors, polymorph.
