The plant this spell is cast on acquires an infectious aura of madness. Anyone who sleeps within 30' of the plant must make a Will save or become maddened for 24 hours upon waking up. Spell resistance is also effective against this aura, however, and someone sleeping near the plant does not suffer this condition if their spell resistance is not breached.
