A pair of shimmering wings appeared, extending from the saddle, as the rider bore upon his horse.
This military saddle is enchanted so that when bearing a rider, the mount gains a fly speed equal to their land speed. Such mounts still need proper training (DC 25 with one week of work) to be ridden in this way.
If the rider falls from the saddle, both the rider and the mount immediately gain the effects of feather fall.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, feather fall, fly.
Cost to Create: 8,000 gp, 640 EXP, 16 days.
