A rectangular enclosed platform has a red padded throne and pillowed cushions elsewhere, enough to hold three people. With a word, the entire platform rises up upon the back of a giant spectral elephant.
This throne and platform is typically immobile, acting simply as a fancy and comfortable place to park with shade from its upper canopy. It has one throne and enough room for three more Medium creatures. One per day as a standard action, different spectral forms may be summoned to move the platform and its riders around. Choose from the following:
Ethereal Elephant: The platform rises up, effectively becoming an elephant howdah to a ectoplasmic entity. It is a Huge creature that has a land speed of 40 ft, and a trunk capable of basic manipulation, as well as safely bringing passengers up and down its huge body.
Ghost Float: The platform generates a massive jellyfish like bubble above it which easily catches the wind and provides variable, if slow, lift. The float is effectively a Gargantuan creature that can levitate up and down 20 ft a round. However, it cannot move horizontally on its own and relies on the wind (or some other source of thrust) to move. By controlling its vents it moves up to the wind speed or as slow as 5 ft in any direction in the same or horizontal direction to the wind (but not upwind).
Wisp Whale: So long as the platform is within 100 ft of a body of water, the wisp whale can be summoned, dragging the pavilion along with it over 1 round as it manifests until it enters the water. The pavilion, strapped along the back of a Gargantuan ectoplasmic whale-like creature, effectively gains a swim speed of 40 ft. Creatures within the pavilion are protected from sea spray and minor waves, but major waves and inclement weather can still pose a problem.
All three forms generate operate not unlike a phantom steed, adjusting for size accordingly and using the movements listed above. All three have 100 hp and use the saving throws of whoever is in the throne. These ectoplasmic creatures follow the commands of whoever is in the throne and persist up to 8 hours before vanishing.
If a teleport or similar spell is used by the one on the throne, they benefit from the Teleport Vehicle feat for the purposes of teleporting themselves and the pavilion.
