An orange ring originally created as a gift to a creature who suffered from burning sores of lava. The original creature and his ring are long gone, but copies have been spread across the world. Some say that the ring looks vaguely like a curled centipede...
This ring reduces environmental fire damage, such as from lava, mundane bonfires and torches, alchemist fire, and the burning effect of the Plane of Fire. It does not effect magical flames such as from a wall of fire. The damage is not negated but all dice damage are minimized, thus a normal fire (1d6) does 1 damage, lava (2d6) does 2 damage, and immersed in lava (20d6) does 20 damage. With sufficient fire resistance you could soak all of it.
The ring has a minor effect on your unarmed attacks and natural attacks, dealing an extra 1 point of fire damage.
Prerequisites: Forge Ring, resist energy.
Cost to Create: 1500 gp, 120 EXP, 3 days.
