Ongoing Damage[edit]

Damage that occurs over multiple rounds.

Ongoing damage occurs at the beginning of the creature's round. It takes the damage specified by the ability that gave ongoing damage. This damage is typeless and bypasses damage reduction. Ongoing damage ends when the target falls below 0 hit points, dies, or is healed magically by even 1 hp.
