A heavy medallion made of a strange, heavy metal. Inscribed on it are a few runes and the image of a howling monstrous canine.
The Oblivion of the Wolf is a powerful medallion, designed to be worn by predators. While worn, the Oblivion grant it wearer the ability to detect survivor at-will, the wearer know if any and which creature she detect are lower CR than her. While worn the Oblivion grant Favored Enemy (Humanoid) as a Ranger of the wearer's character level, which stack with the normal ranger ability.
As a full-round action, the wearer of the Oblivion may summon a ghost wolf with a caster level equal to the wearer's character level. It serve the wielder with absolute loyalty and it has unlimited duration, although only one instance of it may exist at any time. It can be dismissed as a free action by the wearer.
If the wearer of the Oblivion is not Neutral Evil or Chaotic Evil it is does not grant any benefits, simply acting as a heavy piece of jewelry.
The Oblivion of the Wolf is an unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
