The man known as Ivan the Weak-Willed lived a lifetime under the effect of a geas. Thanks to this spell, he won liberation at long last by stabbing his master in the back during his one moment of unfettered willpower. He was tragically immolated moments later by the wizard's contingency spells, but at least he died a free man.
This spell renders the caster immune to Compulsion effects that would force them to act against their will or in an undesirable fashion. In addition, any such spells already affecting the target are temporarily negated. Both of these effects last for one round, with that round still counting against the duration of any Compulsions in effect when this spell is cast.
