The black stone scythe glistens as if slick with blood. With each swing, its targets seem to darken and decay before your eyes.
This +1 onyx scythe can channel necromancy touch spells through it, allowing you to swing your weapon and cast a necromancy touch spell in the same standard action. In addition whenever you cast a necromancy spell the scythe obtains a buff dealing an additional +2 profane bonus to attack against living creatures and 2d4 negative energy damage for as many rounds as the spell level used. For example if you cast a 4th level enervation, the scythe obtains its buff for 4 rounds.
At your choosing, creatures slain by your scythe can automatically rise up as skeletons or zombies under your control 1 round after dying. However when raised in this manner they only last for 1 minute before crumbling into dust. These undead do not count towards your control limit.
If you are undead, the scythe grants you +4 turn resistance. The scythe counts as an unholy symbol for the purposes of spellcasting.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, animate dead.
